Six people perish when a boat overturns in Pune’s dam backwaters
Officials stated on Wednesday that six people—two of them were children—drowned when their boat overturned in the backwaters of the Ujani dam in the Pune district of Maharashtra. According to them, the event happened on Tuesday night after heavy rain and wind.

The boat carrying seven people capsized on Tuesday night due to high winds and rain, he added.
