Respond to the accusations made by Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh: Sunil Jakhar

In response to Kunwar Vijay Pratap’s damning accusations about the AAP leadership, Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar has called for the harshest punishment possible for anybody found to have supported the drug gangs.

Speaking to the media, Jakhar said, “I will urge the Election Commission to take cognizance and initiate an investigation to ascertain the names of those responsible, including police officers, for destroying Punjab by selling drugs.”

Given Kunwar Vijay Pratap’s credibility, the statement he made in front of Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal pointed to direct collusion with Raghav Chadha, and this needs to be looked into so Punjabis know what “kattar imaandaars” are doing in the name of “badlaav.” If the statement had come from someone else, people would have read a political motive into it, Jakhar said.

When questioned about Balbir Singh Seechewal’s decision to not run for the AAP, Jakhar said, “Seechewalji knows the truth and has no obligation like Bhagwant Mann to side with falsehood.”

Jakhar said that because Punjabis were now aware of this, they would deliberately vote for the BJP in order to maintain the state’s long-term stability and tranquility.
