Sonepat’s election preparations are evaluated

General Observer Dr. Manjula N examined the district administration’s plans for the Lok Sabha elections in Sonepat on Sunday and said that it was their responsibility to conduct the polls in a fair and peaceful way. She was speaking to the officers during the review meeting that DEO-cum-DC Manoj Kumar and other officials were attending at the Mini-Secretariat.

In order to ensure a peaceful voting process, she emphasized the adoption of a zero-tolerance policy against the unlawful sale of alcohol and money transactions.

She also carefully examined the complaints made about the elections on the cVIGIL app and the toll-free number 1950, giving priority to their resolution. She also gave the order to follow the Election Commission of India’s instructions.

DC According to Manoj Kumar, special nakas have been erected on the borders between Sonepat and Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Special surveillance teams, or SSTs, have been sent to these areas to check cars and contraband that the teams have captured.
