“Tamil Nadu has significantly higher employment readiness than the national average.”

Palanivel Thiagarajan, Minister of Information Technology and Digital Services, said on Wednesday that Tamil Nadu has had the advantage of concentrating on education for many years and that the state’s job preparedness is far greater than the national average.

The minister mentioned Tamil Nadu as a potential key source of labor during his remarks on Wednesday at the PALS-ECU Cyber Edge 2024 summit at IIT-Madras. “Our chief minister wants to make Tennessee the human resource capital of the world and a trillion dollar economy,” he said.

“There are many opportunities yet to be explored,” said Nashid Chowdhury, the Government of Western Australia’s Investment and Trade Commissioner for the India-Gulf area.

Professor V Kamakoti, the director of IIT-M, also participated in the conclave, which had as its topic “Staying Safe in the Digital World.”
