Telangana Assembly Polls End, High-Octane Campaign Closes, Results Are Awaiting on December 3

Tuesday at 5 p.m. marks the conclusion of the intense campaign for the Telangana Assembly votes on November 30. Compared to the other four states where elections have already been conducted, Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram have had the longest polling season.

On October 9, the Elections Commission released the timetable, which resulted in the state adopting the model code of conduct.

While the Congress has been battling tooth and nail and has gone all out to make a return, and the BJP has spared no effort to gain power, the BRS is attempting to hold onto power for a third straight term.

Up to 2,290 candidates are running in the next elections, including BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar, D Arvind, and Soyam Bapurao, BRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his minister-son KT Rama Rao, and TPCC president A Revanth Reddy.

Both KCR and Revanth Reddy are running from two segments: Gajwel and Kamareddy, as well as Kodangal and Kamareddy. In addition to Huzurabad, where Etala Rajender is the current representative, the BJP nominated an MLA from Gajwel.

During the campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at twelve events, in addition to a roadshow in Hyderabad on Monday that was met with great acclaim.

December 3 is when the vote counting will begin.
