Telangana Polls: Will BJP and Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Work Together? Meeting Amit Shah Causes A Buzz

senior sources revealed to News18 that Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan met with senior BJP officials in the nation’s capital to finalize the agreement for battleground Telangana ahead of the impending elections. Kalyan and his party leaders returned from Delhi on Tuesday night.

According to a Jana Sena source, a decision about the number of seats that Kalyan’s party would run for in the next elections against the BJP is probably going to be made in the coming days. “We shall know the form that this partnership will take in the next two or three days. However, the source said that the two parties have agreed to establish an alliance in principle.

In the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh, where it is in an alliance with the BJP, Pawan Kalyan’s party is expected to have an impact on about twenty-five seats. These are the seats in the districts of Khammam and Nalgonda as well as the GHMC area.

Pawan Kalyan has a fascinating grasp of the Andhra Pradesh state. He has an agreement with the BJP, but he has also declared his intention to form an alliance with the TDP of Chandrababu Naidu. Even yet, the TDP and BJP do not form a coalition.

During its core election committee meeting last Friday, the saffron party addressed about 55 out of 119 assembly seats.

Three Lok Sabha MPs are among the 52 seats for which the BJP has already announced candidates. Arvind Dharmapuri, the current Lok Sabha MP from Nizamabad, will run from Koratla, Soyam Bapu Rao from Boath, and former BJP president Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar.

The BJP has nominated controversial politician T Raja Singh from Goshamahal in light of the suspension being lifted ahead of the state elections. Chief of the campaign committee Etela Rajendran, who defected from BRS to the BJP last year, will run from Huzurabad.

Reputable sources also said that the saffron party is expected to convene another CEC meeting to finalize and debate their tickets for the remaining seats once the partnership is adjusted.

Next month, there will be elections in five states; Telangana will host the last election on November 30.
