The publisher’s information and quantity must be shown on pamphlets and posters

On Thursday, Sakshi Sawhney, the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer (DEO), emphasized how important it is for printers and publishers to include precise information, including quantities, their names, and addresses, on any election-related pamphlets, posters, or other materials they create.

Chairing a meeting with publishers and printers, Sawhney ordered that all handbills, posters, pamphlets, etc. bear the name of the publisher and printer in addition to the quantity of printed copies, and that a publisher’s declaration be included with all publication-related data. Sawhney was accompanied in this by Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Major Amit Sareen. She added that anybody who disobeys the rules would face legal consequences.
