Today, PM Modi will respond to the “Motion of Thanks” in the Rajya Sabha

NEW DELHI: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will respond to the Rajya Sabha’s Motion of Thanks to President Droupadi Murmu’s speech.

The Prime Minister addressed the Lok Sabha’s Motion of Thanks to the President earlier this week. In his speech, Prime Minister Modi took a savage stance against the Congress and said that the opposition no longer had the guts to run for office.
Setting the tone for the general election that is scheduled for April or May, PM Modi said that the BJP will win at least 370 seats and the NDA would surpass 400 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
“A cancel culture has ensnared Congress. The new Parliament building, Made in India, and Vande Bharat Trains are canceled. The Prime Minister has said, “They negate every accomplishment of India.”
“This is Modi’s guarantee that India will become the third largest economy in the world after US and China in my third term,” he said.
The government has chosen to bring a white paper on the state of the economy during the 10 years of the UPA government, when the nation’s economy was classified as one of the “Fragile Five.” It has also decided to extend the current session of Parliament by one day. The occasion will be used to highlight the country’s progress since PM Modi took office in 2014, when it joined the three largest economies in the world.
This Saturday will also mark the continuation of the current session, which began on January 31 and was scheduled to expire on February 9. This is an unusual instance in which both Houses will convene on a weekend. This session is the last one before the next Lok Sabha elections.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said in her Interim Budget address that the Center will publish a “white paper” contrasting the conditions of the Indian economy in 2014 and before.
The economy is now firmly on a high sustainable growth path with all-around development, having survived the crises of those years. In order to learn from the mishandling of those years, it is now fair to compare where we were in 2014 and where we are today. At her address on February 1, Sitharaman said, “The government will place a white paper on the House table.”
