Under the PM Awas Yojana, almost 4 crore Families received homes, according to Piyush Goyal

According to Union minister Piyush Goyal on Friday, the PM Awas Yojana has provided houses for almost four crore households in both rural and urban parts of the nation.

The minister was addressing in the nation’s capital at the Times Now Amazing Indians award event.

In towns and villages, “four crore, or 15% of India’s families, have received homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana,” he said.

Regarding the award recipients, he remarked that receiving such recognition encourages and urges them to keep doing their excellent work for society.
