Upon his collapse, former Telangana chief minister KCR was hospitalized; PM Modi voiced concerns

K Chandrashekhar Rao, the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and a former chief minister of Telangana, was taken to a private hospital early on Friday after tripping and falling at his farmhouse. The event happened around 2:30 in the morning.

He sustained a little fracture. The Indian Express cited a BRS party official close to KCR’s family as saying, “Otherwise, he is well.”

The 69-year-old BRS chief’s health is being assessed by medical professionals, and surgery may be necessary, PTI said, citing sources. They stated that they would release a medical bulletin.

In addition to expressing worry, Prime Minister Narendra Modi prayed for his health.

“I’m sorry to hear that former Telangana chief minister Shri KCR Garu is hurt. On X, PM Modi tweeted, “I pray for his quick recovery and good health.”

In the recently held Telangana elections, the Congress emerged victorious, securing 64 seats, and handily defeating the BRS. On Thursday, TPCC president Revanth Reddy took the oath of office as chief minister
