Will work for a more powerful party, according to former Home Minister of Haryana Anil Vij

Anil Vij, the former home minister of Haryana, said today that while things change, he would always support the Bharatiya Janata Party no matter what. This comes only a day after Vij declined to attend the oath-taking ceremony of recently appointed Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Before heading out for the floor test, Anil Vij made the following statement to the media: “I am a ‘bhakt’ of the BJP.” The circumstances are ever-changing, but I have consistently worked for the BJP. And I will continue to work for the more powerful party even now.

Later that day, Vij gave the go-ahead for authorities to speed up development on a domestic airport in Ambala Cantonment after seeing the under-construction facility. He looked over construction work pertaining to the terminal, parking, canteen, and entry area and asked questions regarding the job completed.

He was notified by PWD executive engineer Ritesh Aggarwal that 50% of the terminal’s construction was finished. At a cost over Rs 133 crore, the facility would be built on a 20-acre plot of land in Ambala cantonment.
