After CSK’s IPL victory, Ruturaj Gaikwad’s future wife Utkarsha Pawar touches MS Dhoni’s feet

Modern cricketers are unafraid to honor the famous skipper in any circumstance, and MS Dhoni is undoubtedly a name of inspiration for them. Utkarsha Pawar, the fiancée of Ruturaj Gaikwad, was seen in a recent viral video patting Dhoni’s feet to ask for his blessings. On May 29, the Narendra Modi Stadium saw the touching moment when Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in the IPL final and inscribed their name on the trophy for a record-tying fifth time.

Today, Utkarsha, a professional cricket player who competes for Maharashtra in domestic competition, will wed Ruturaj.

Every member of the Chennai Super Kings family had a fairytale-like experience on the IPL final night. After Ravindra Jadeja’s amazing victory, which became Chennai, along with Mumbai Indians, the most successful franchise of the competition, the scenes at their dugout were rather chaotic.

The CSK team was basking in the glory of their moment when Utkarsha Pawar and her would-be husband Ruturaj approached Dhoni. While talking to the couple, the Chennai captain suddenly bowed down to pat Dhoni’s feet. Dhoni quickly attempted to stop her before giving her a bear embrace.

Utkarsha Pawar, a right-arm fast bowler for the Maharashtra team, is 24 years old. In November 2021, she last played on a domestic field. Utkarsha has played for her state in 10 first-glass matches so far, taking 4 wickets and batting for 41 runs. At the Institute of Nutrition and Fitness Sciences (INFS) in Pune, she is completing her further studies.

Ruturaj Gaikwad was prepared to go to England with the Indian side for the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which gets underway on June 7 at the London Oval. The youthful opener was forced to leave the team due to his impending marriage, however. Gaikwad was replaced by Yashasvi Jaiswal, another promising kid.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway developed a potent opening combination for Chennai, and the pair often carried the team to victories. Ruturaj has made 16 appearances this season and amassed 590 runs with a 40+ batting average and a remarkable 147.50 strike rate. On the Orange Cap list, which was headed by Shubman Gill, he came in eighth place.
