Bengaluru FC signs custodian Vikram Singh for the Indian Super League

Goalkeeper Vikram Singh has signed a one-year contract with Bengaluru FC of the Indian Super League, the club announced on Wednesday.

Vikram will play for the Blues in the 2018 ISL season. He most recently played for Aizawl FC in the I-League.

“I’m particularly eager to go on a new trip because I think it will further my development as a custodian. After signing his contract, Vikram said, “I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates, the coaches, and of course the supporters who are famous all throughout the nation.

Vikram, who was born in Mumbai, is a Mumbai City FC Academy alumnus and has previously played for Fateh Hyderabad FC. He was also a member of the 2020–21 Islanders team that won the League championship. Vikram played 12 times for Aizawl in 2022–23, the team’s seventh-place League result.

Vikram shown some potential when playing for Aizawl FC, and we think that working with our coaches and the other goalkeepers in our system can definitely help him improve.

According to Darren Caldeira, director of football for the Blues, “He has all the right attributes to develop into a custodian at the highest level, and we believe his addition can improve our unit as a whole.”
