Details on live streaming and broadcasting the T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand

The five-match T20I series between hosts New Zealand and Pakistan promises to be exciting and action-packed. Play begins on Friday, January 12. A strong roster including the return of veteran players like Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Kane Williamson, and Devon Conway has been revealed by the Blackcaps for the series.

Following his recovery from a right hamstring injury, seamer Ferguson will be ready for all five games, but before making the team, he will play for Auckland in the upcoming Super Smash and miss the last three T20Is.

Ferguson had an Achilles injury during New Zealand’s ODI World Cup campaign in India, but he has since healed. Ferguson will be replaced by right-arm pacer Ben Sears for the last three games of the series, which are scheduled to be played in Dunedin (3rd T20I) and Christchurch (4th and 5th T20I), respectively. Sears was selected to the team for the first two games of the series.

Despite being chosen the series captain, Williamson will miss the third Twenty20 International due to his ongoing knee care; Josh Clarkson, a batting all-rounder, has been added as his replacement.

In contrast, Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was named the new captain after Babar Azam resigned, will play in his first T20I match during this series, ushering in a new chapter in Pakistan’s T20I history. Since Muhammad Rizwan was named vice captain, Shaheen would be able to consult with him.

There are several young players on Pakistan’s trip who show great potential and will be keen to get started.
