Gambhir praises Dhoni, and online users find it unbelievable

Gautam Gambhir has received criticism often for publicly criticizing former Indian captain MS Dhoni. “He was unable to accomplish what he could have as a hitter because of leadership. As captain, you often need to put the team first. MS may have batted at No. 3 had he not been the captain. He could have set a number of ODI records, I’m sure. He has received several awards, but according to himself, he sacrificed his international runs in order to win awards, according to Gambhir.

Except for the eighth, ninth, and tenth positions, Dhoni has batted in every position. His batting average, nevertheless, has been exceptional as the third hitter. In actuality, he scored his maiden ODI century while batting third for India against Pakistan in Vizag.
