India will go to Centurion and Cape Town, South Africa, for two Test matches. The first Test match is scheduled to begin on Boxing Day.

The former captain of India, who is not playing for the Indian national team, had an incredible ODI World Cup at home. Even though Australia defeated India in the championship game, Kohli scored the most runs of any player in a single edition with 765 in 11 games. During the competition, he also eclipsed his hero, Sachin Tendulkar, with 50 ODI centuries.

In the longest format of the game, Kohli has an incredible record in South Africa. The right-hander amassed 719 runs at an average of 51.36 in 14 innings, including two hundreds and three fifties.

In terms of experience, Kohli will be a huge asset to his colleagues, according to Kallis. “He’s a major player anywhere he plays. having made many appearances and had some degree of success here.
