Watch Virat Kohli’s hilarious exchange with Ravindra Jadeja, “Saans Toh Lene de Usko!”

In addition to his skills on the field, world-class all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is renowned for finishing his overs quickly.

During a funny interaction with his India teammate on Friday during Chennai Super Kings’ match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli urged Jadeja to give the batsman a little space to breathe in the midst of his third over.

Jadeja was rapidly finishing his over, which was the third of the innings and the eleventh for the RCB.

Right before the left-arm spinner took off on his third delivery to Cameron Green of the RCB, Kohli, the non-striker, said, “Saans toh lene de use! (Allow the man some breathing space!)

After three early wickets in a row, the RCB innings were in disarray and Kohli and Green were trying to right the ship. After choosing to bat first, the visitors had gotten off to a great start due to Faf du Plessis’ fast 35 off 23 balls during the powerplay.

After Mustafizur Rahman took two wickets in the fifth over, including Du Plessis and Rajat Patidar (0), Deepak Chahar delivered a huge blow by bowling Glenn Maxwell out for a golden duck.

As it happened, Kohli and Green had a partnership for 35 runs before both fell in Mustafizur’s four overs, which resulted in statistics of 4/29.

Before Dinesh Karthik and Anuj Rawat combined to take RCB to 173/6 in 20 overs, they were struggling at 78/5. On the last ball of the RCB innings, Anuj was dismissed for 48 but Karthik was still undefeated at 38.

CSK easily exceeded the goal with eight deliveries remaining and six wickets in hand. The hosts concluded at 176/4 in 18.4 overs, with debutant Rachin Ravindra top-scoring for the defending champions with a 15-ball 37 and Shivam Dube remaining undefeated at 34.
