Once again, Modi travels to Bareilly to “galvanize support after BJP rift.”

Bareilly: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made his second visit to the Bareilly district in as many days. The action was taken to tip the scales in favor of the party, especially because anger had been raised over Santosh Gangwar’s, an eight-time MP, not being given a ticket and being replaced by Chhatrapal Gangwar. Internal dissension over the decision had resulted in demonstrations by BJP employees.

But Modi’s entrance, which was heralded with a road show on April 26 and a rally in Aonla on Thursday, was intended to defuse tensions.

Many kids waved signs pledging their loyalty to “Modi ka parivaar (Modi’s family)” over their heads. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, was present at the ceremony, accompanied by Bhupendra Chaudhary, Chhatrapal, and Santosh Gangwar, who were riding in the same car as Modi. A prominent party figure emphasized the goal of projecting harmony and togetherness among the party’s members. The safety of the event was guaranteed by approximately 4,000 police officers, including eight SP-rank officers, and a large number of security professionals, including the Special Protection Group (SPG) and intelligence agencies.
