Fans React When Tech YouTuber Receives Honorary Doctorate, Turning MKBHD Into MKPHD

Marques Brownlee, often known as MKBHD, is a well-known provider of tech content, and he has added yet another honor to his stellar resume. The Stevens Institute of Technology, from which he graduated in May 2015 with a degree in business and information technology, bestowed upon him an honorary doctorate in business administration on May 22.

His supporters greeted the announcement of his honorary PhD with humor and affection as it rapidly went viral on the internet. Social media was full of congratulations and clever remarks.

“Bro upgraded to MKPHD,” a fan said, drawing attention to the lighthearted change on his YouTube account.

“Wait a minute, he was silently doing a PhD while being a full-time YouTuber and playing golf and frisbee professionally on international levels?” said another person in shock. It’s unbelievable, but if Marques Brownlee is at issue, it makes sense. “Bro is going to give serious reviews of doctors and hospitals,” joked a third admirer.

A video of the event that shows Marques receiving his honorary degree has appeared on ‘X’, giving a visual element to the general enthusiasm along with the deluge of comments.

Since his initial post in 2008, Marques Brownlee, popularly known as MKBHD, has amassed one of the biggest and most reputable YouTube channels, for those who may not be aware of his path. In 2009, Marques signed up for the network and began posting material, swiftly becoming a respected figure in the tech industry.

Many manufacturers contacted him, even in the early days of his channel, to showcase or promote premium gear and software. But MKBHD persisted in showing off goods that really piqued his audience’s curiosity. In February 2014, he attained one million members as a result of his perseverance. Since then, his channel’s development has been constant, securing his place as one of the top YouTubers in the IT industry.

With a concentration on tech products, gadgets, and automotive reviews, his channel has over 18 million members and 3 billion views as of right now.
