Is Instagram unavailable? These ‘Best’ GIFs Will Provide You With Entertainment

Many users worldwide are unable to use Instagram, a popular photo-sharing program. Social media users went to X (previously known as Twitter) to quickly release their feelings and responses, even if the problem hasn’t been fixed yet. Social media users ironically took to the microblogging site to upload photographs and GIFs to make light of the issue, igniting a meme frenzy in response to the worldwide outage.

Check out some of the funniest responses to Instagram’s outage:

A user posted a humorous crowd video that mimicked how netizens are flocking to the microblogging site, mocking how people have flocked to Musk’s X since Instagram was down.

On X, a funny montage that mimicked the responses of Instagram users to the outage also went popular.

A user posted an image of Homer switching from Instagram to X when the site crashed, drawing inspiration from The Simpsons.

It seems that the impacted user base is still having trouble with their Instagram accounts automatically logging out while comments pour into social media sites. There were 488 complaints of an outage on Friday morning at 6:30 AM, according to Downdetector.com.

While users are venting their annoyance and looking for information on when the services will be back up, Instagram’s parent company, Meta, has not yet released an official comment on the matter.

The global outage affecting Facebook and Instagram

Earlier this month, on March 5, there was a significant outage on Facebook and Instagram that caused problems logging on to the networks. The problem was frequently brought up by users who were complaining that Facebook and Instagram were logging them out. Some users were prompted to reset their passwords and were not even allowed to refresh their sites.

After a few hours, the services were back up. A representative for Meta, Andy Stone, issued an apology for the inconvenience and said, “Earlier today, some of our services were unavailable to some users due to a technical issue.” We are sorry for any difficulty caused, and we worked promptly to find a solution for everyone affected.

In a brief jab at the downtime, Elon Musk, the owner of X, said, “If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working.”
