For those who are unaware, a recent campaign by the company received harsh criticism since it showed women without a “bindi.” The little colored dot on the forehead is said to bring luck and good fortune. Many users of social media expressed worry over the fact that the models hawking these sarees were not wearing bindis. Many people criticized the brand for this on social media site ‘X’.
