The largest roti in Bikaner is 18 inches in diameter and only costs 60 rupees

You must have eaten a variety of rotis throughout your life. Some may be large or tiny, thick or thin, but now we’re here to tell you about the largest roti in Bikaner. The diameter of this roti is 18 inches. To eat this roti, people go from different towns to the Veer Tejaji Hotel on the Bikaner-Jodhpur bypass. This roti was once only available at one location, but it is now available at several dhabas beside the highway.

Mahavir Singh, the hotel’s proprietor, claims that the roti has become quite well-liked in Bikaner. Half a kilogram of flour is used to make one roti, which is then traditionally grilled over coals. And although you would anticipate it taking a while to prepare, it really does so very quickly. Approximately Rs 60 is spent on one roti.

Mahavir Singh claims that desi ghee and veggies are served with this particular roti. Many people frequent this location daily to enjoy the huge rotis. This roti tastes better in part because it is cooked over a coal flame.

Singh asserts that hotel employees from a neighbouring hamlet make the roti there. He has given them jobs for the last four to five years. The original makers of the unique roti were the people of Bhanera hamlet in Bikaner’s Kolayat tehsil. After that, the villagers of this hamlet started producing the roti at a dhaba. Then it was prepared in the dhabas built along the city’s roadway.
