UP Man, 55, Graduates with a Pharmacy Degree 32 Years After Leaving School

At the age of 55, a senior citizen realized his dream of becoming a doctor in a pure act of zeal and tenacity. Ram Swaroop, a native of Chauraha in Shivgarh town, Rae Bareli district, Uttar Pradesh, seems to be just starting his journey towards retirement at a far younger age than most of us anticipate. The passion of this older guy, who is 55 years old, is equal to that of a 22-year-old.

Ram Swaroop has served as an inspiration for young people and others in his age group who previously had dreams but gave up because of peer pressure, obligations to their families, or other factors. The old guy had longed to be a doctor since he was a little boy. However, after finishing his 12th grade, he was forced to give up on furthering his studies due to a lack of financial security and a few other difficulties.

He persisted, anyway. He carefully awaited the chance and the appropriate moment, unlike others. He continued to provide for his family while also putting in effort to achieve his own goals. In 2021–2022, 32 years after he stopped studying, he finished the D Pharma course and received his degree. Although he was unable to finish his MBBS, he was still able to get a pharmacy degree, which was a close second to his desired job.

In an interview, Ram Swaroop discussed the issue and said, “I was unable to pursue a career as a doctor, but I am content with my pharmacy degree. This is due to the fact that, at the very least, I have integrated myself into the health department. I’m pleased.

Ram Swaroop stated, in response to a query regarding earning a degree at age 55, “There is no age for learning. You can surely succeed at anything if you have the will to do it.
