UPSC publishes recommended candidate marks

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) held a famous test, and Aditya Srivastava was the top applicant. The commission announced the complete scores of the recommended candidates on Friday. Srivastava achieved 54.27 percent in the exam.

Animesh Pradhan, who received a 52.69 percent mark in the Civil Services Exam of 2023, is not far behind.

Up to 1,016 applicants, 664 of whom were males and 352 of whom were women, passed the test; the results were revealed on Tuesday.

Preliminary, main, and personality tests (or interviews) are the three parts of the examination that the UPSC administers every year to choose officers for various positions, including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).

Two 400-mark objective-style multiple-choice question exams make up the preliminary exam.

Srivastava is a trainee Indian Police Service (IPS) officer who was born in Lucknow. He has an MTech degree in addition to having earned his BTech in electrical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. In the civil services examination, electrical engineering was one of his alternative subjects.

Pradhan, a 24-year-old from Talcher town in the Angul district of Odisha, placed second with 1,067 points (892 in written and 175 in interview).
