7 family members perished in a vehicle accident in Bihar

In the Rohtas region of Bihar on Wednesday, seven family members were murdered when their speeding SUV hit a stopped container truck.

The victims were traveling from Bodh Gaya to their hometown Kurani village.

On the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway 19, in the hamlet of Pakhnari, within the jurisdiction of the Shiv Sagar police station, the accident occurred at approximately three in the morning.

Aditya Kumar (age 8), Riya Kumari (9), Chandni (15), Tara (18), Soni (age 35), Rajmati Devi (age 50), and Arvind Sharma (age 50) are identified as the deceased.

Five other people were seriously hurt in the crash. Ritu Sharma (age 14), Divya KUmari (age 25), Ravi Nandan Priyadarshi (30), Upendra Sharma (30), and Sudeshwar Sharma (age 60) were listed as their names.

They are receiving care at the Sadar Medical Center in Rohtas.

“We struck a parked truck with our car from behind as we were leaving Bodh Gaya. Sudeshwar Sharma, one of the wounded, stated, “We didn’t know how it occurred.

“The driver of the Scorpio (SUV) was likely asleep for a brief period, which resulted in the tragic mishap,” said NHAI officer Narendra Pandey. We carried out the rescue effort and sent the wounded patients to Sadar hospital for better care.
