Bihar woman brutally murdered over a land dispute with her private parts mutilated, eyes gouged out, and tongue cut

A 45-year-old lady was tragically killed by severe beatings in the Bihar region of Khagaria, apparently over a property dispute. According to the authorities, the woman’s corpse was discovered mangled with her eyes gouged out of their sockets, her tongue chopped, and damage to her private parts.

The victim, Sulekha Devi, had gone to her farm in Mehandipur village when the crime was reported on Saturday evening.Devi was assaulted by four bike-riding males while she was working in the field. According to eyewitness testimonies, they beat Devi, gouged out her eyes with a knife, severed her tongue, and violated her private parts.

According to the police, the lady passed away there and then. Five persons have been charged with different offenses under the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including murder under Section 302. Since the incident was reported, the accused have fled, and police have launched an investigation to find them.

According to a report, Mahendra Singh, Rulo Singh, Rajdev Singh, Fulungi Singh, and Shyam Kumar Singh were five of Sulekha Devi’s neighbors who were accused.

Sulekha Devi’s family had a protracted land dispute with five of their neighbors, according to the police.Although the case is still pending, the victim’s husband and brother-in-law were also slain because of the same disagreement nine years earlier.

An official said that the suspects, who were also complicit in their murder, are presently free on bond.

According to the report, Station House Officer (SHO) Amlesh Kumar said that the ferocity of the murder indicates that the perpetrators had a long-standing hatred for the victim.

The act caused anger in the community, which resulted in demonstrations during which locals stopped National Highway 31. Until the culprits were caught, they wouldn’t burn the victim’s remains at a crematorium.

The locals consented to halt their protest, nevertheless, when the police promised to take immediate and severe punishment.
