A newlywed woman vanishes off a train in Bihar while on her honeymoon

In the Kishanganj district of Bihar, a newlywed lady vanished off a train, an official said on Sunday.

On July 28, Kajal Kumari and her husband boarded the New Delhi to New Jalpaiguri Superfast train in order to go to Darjeeling for their honeymoon. The pair left Muzaffarpur, Bihar, to join the train.

“Seats 43 and 45 on coach number B4 were reserved for us. My wife left the train to use the restroom when it arrived at the Kishanganj railway station, and she never came back. I looked through every carriage after the train departed but was unable to locate it. Then I went back to Muzaffarpur and reported the incident to the GRP Kishanganj,” the woman’s husband stated.

He believed she could have fallen prey to a drug trafficking ring. She doesn’t have any unlawful relationships with anybody else, he said.

The GRP authorities searched the Kishanganj train station’s CCTV video in response to the report, but they were unable to locate her.

The complainant is a resident of Kurhani block and works for Muzaffarpur’s energy department. He wed the lady six months ago, but owing to family obligations, they were unable to take a honeymoon shortly after the wedding.
