All Parties Will Come Together When the Time Is Right: Bihar Minister on Mayawati Joining the Opposition Front

Shravan Kumar, a minister for Bihar and the JD(U)’s spokesman for Uttar Pradesh, voiced optimism on Monday that BSP leader Mayawati will join the front of opposition parties.

Additionally, Kumar said that his party would reject the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and that the BJP is attempting to split up the opposition parties in Bihar and other states.

The Bihar minister came to the district headquarters to attend his party’s workers’ meeting.

When asked by reporters why Mayawati skipped the opposition party conference in Patna, Kumar said, “All parties will unite when the time comes. There will be a gathering of everyone.

“Hold on, give me a moment. When questioned about whether the BSP chief would join the envisioned anti-BJP coalition, he said, “What you are saying will also happen in the future times.

At a conference called by Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, last month, opposition groups from over a dozen states participated in order to develop a shared strategy for the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for next year.

The minister said on the rift in the NCP in Maharashtra, “The BJP has no other task left to perform. Parties are dissolving and will disintegrate. The nation is facing a struggle from inflation and unemployment.

“There’s a threat to the Constitution. The nation’s civilisation and culture are being changed via efforts. We are attempting to address this significant issue,” he stated.

He said, “We are putting up a campaign to rid the nation of the BJP in 2024.

He said of the political climate in Bihar, “They (BJP) are doing the same elsewhere. They only rose to prominence via destroying other parties, and in 2024 they will feel the burden of this.

The Bihar minister said that his party will be against the Uniform Civil Code.

He said that “BJP is attempting to incite hatred throughout the nation.”
