BJP: CM Nitish Kumar Can’t Maintain Law And Order In Bihar Despite Dreaming Of Becoming Prime Minister

On Sunday, the BJP attacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for recent criminal activity in Bihar, alleging that he is dreaming of becoming the country’s prime minister while being unable to maintain peace and order in his own state.

Senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad took notice of Kumar’s recent trip to the capital to pay respects to the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his monument and questioned if it was a “honest” demonstration of his affection for the former prime minister or whether he sought to impress his friends.

“Nitish babu, what has happened to you? A police officer was slain in Bihar a few days ago. A journalist was then slain. Today there was reports of officers being assaulted in Gaya by a sand mafia. You cannot manage Bihar, Nitish Babu. Prasad told reporters here, “Take care of Bihar and stop worrying about the nation.

The former Union minister said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the best interests of the nation at heart.”

In Bihar, there is a terror code. Because the sand mafia and other criminals have the support of powerful individuals connected to those (allies) with whom you (Nitish Kumar) have established government in the state, Prasad said in a reference to JD(U) ally RJD, saying that people are living in dread.

Prasad praised Kumar for visiting Vajpayee’s “samadhi sthal” in the nation’s capital and paid respects to him at his monument on August 6.

“We revere Atal ji together…However, he said, “Whether it’s your sincere ‘Atal prem’ (love for late PM) or you are showing something to your allies, why are you remembering Atal ji so much?”

“You (Nitish) still regard Atal ji with respect. The whole nation respects him. But I only have one request for you—please don’t politicize his name. My modest recommendation to you is this, the BJP leader said.
