Lok Sabha Elections of 2024: On Thursday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy rode in a state-owned Road Transport Corporation bus in Hyderabad and spoke with the passengers about the various policies that were part of their party’s poll manifesto.

At Dil Sukh Nagar in the city, Rahul Gandhi and CM Reddy got aboard a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus.

Talks about the Congress election manifesto

Rahul wanted to know whether ladies could ride the RTC buses for free. Regarding the Yuva Nyay, Kisan Nyay, Nari Nyay, and Shramik Nyay that are part of the Congress agenda for the 2024 Lok Sabha election, Rahul Gandhi briefed the passengers on them.

Gandhi said that the current general elections are a “election between two ideologies,” and that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has threatened to “destroy the Constitution.” “The impoverished, tribal, and backward citizens of our nation are protected by our Constitution. The impoverished people of India had no rights prior to the formation of the Constitution. After decades of effort, the Congress Party and crores of Indians have succeeded in making the book of the Constitution the voice of your heart. However, the BJP’s members have made it plain that they want to overthrow the Constitution,” he remarked.

Two ideologies are elected

“There are two ideologies running in this election. The Congress and the I.N.D.I. are on one side.a coalition working to preserve the Constitution. The BJP, Narendra Modi, and the RSS are on the opposing side, attempting to undermine the Constitution. The Constitution will be upheld. No force can overthrow the Indian Constitution,” Gandhi said.

The Congress leader went on to say that despite his pledge to turn “crores of people into millionaires,” PM Modi has “worked for people like Adani.” “Narendra Modi has experience working with Adani. Currently, 22 individuals in the nation own as much money as 70 crore people. The Congress party is about to turn millions of people become millionaires. Every impoverished household in the nation will have one lady chosen, and the Congress Party will deposit Rs. 1 lakh into her account annually,” he said.

After becoming office, Gandhi also promised to carry out a caste census across the nation.

Approximately 90% of people in India belong to the backward, tribal, Dalit, impoverished general, and minority classes. However, they are unable to engage with the nation. As a result, we have decided to carry out a caste census across India. in order for individuals from every group to be aware of their population and level of involvement in the nation,” he said.
