Customers of SBI express concern and report technical problems with UPI transactions during the last two days

Customers of SBI voiced worry on Monday due to technical issues they had been having for the previous two days while utilizing UPI transactions. They questioned the SBI on social media about when the problems would be resolved. Who cares that this issue has existed for the last two days? One of the users commented, “They are relishing this issue.

In response to consumer complaints, SBI urgently alerted millions of its bank clients that SBI customers may experience issues with the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services.

The bank said that because to technological upgrades, SBI clients may experience sporadic variations in UPI services.

“Dear clients, We have upgraded our system, thus you can see sporadic variations in the Bank’s UPI services. We sincerely apologize for any trouble this may be giving you. Soon, we’ll provide an update, SBI stated in a statement.

Since its launch in 2016, UPI has seen a multi-fold increase in digital payment volume. UPI transactions totaled 151 million in January 2018 before increasing to 9.3 billion in June 2023.
