Elon Musk claims that journalists and media organizations may share in X’s ad revenue and make money by publishing content

On his social media network, X (previously Twitter), Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk proposed a new pricing arrangement for news organizations. Following his commitment to financially assist artists via X’s advertising income scheme, Musk has now opened the option to media organizations.

According to a recent statement by Musk, “Organizations (news or otherwise) who wish to participate also apply to our advertising revenue share program.” This was carried out to encourage cooperation and aid news organizations.

In an effort to boost their revenue, Musk had earlier in the week asked journalists to post directly on X. Accordingly, the site erased the content and headlines from news stories that were posted there. Instead, by restricting the display to the main picture and the URL, a straightforward and enticing framework for postings containing news stories was developed.

The statement was made by Musk himself. Will considerably improve the aesthetics,” he continued, emphasizing his role in the creation of the platform. In answer to a follower’s request for improved tools for journalists, he also made a suggestion on enhancing the user experience.

Musk’s drive for X to create a news story structure where just the source URL and the lead picture are presented seems to be an attempt by the platform to avoid using clickbait content. The main picture will continue to link to the entire story. The purpose of this update is to reduce the length of individual postings so that users’ timelines may see more material at once.

In the meanwhile, Musk has also made hints about rolling out a new video function that would allow viewers to swipe to go on to the next film. This seems to be an attempt by the company to improve user experience by providing them with several videos with only one swipe, similar to Facebook and Instagram.
