IGL Will Lower CNG Prices In Delhi-NCR Starting Today by Rs. 2.50 Kg

Delhi, New: Following the announcement by Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) that the company has decided to lower the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) to Rs 73.50/kg, effective from midnight on March 5, 2024, or early on March 6, 2024, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) announced on Wednesday that it will lower the price of CNG by Rs 2.50/kg in the IGL area, which includes Delhi NCR. The discounted rates will take effect at six a.m. tomorrow, March 7, 2024.

“On Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 6 a.m., the retail consumer price of CNG will be cut by Rs. 2.50 per kilogram across all of IGL’s geographical territories. In a statement, IGL said that the new selling price of CNG in Delhi would be Rs 74.09 per kg, while in Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad, GA, it would be Rs 78.70 per kg starting at 6 am tomorrow morning.

India will become cleaner and greener as a result of this decrease in the price of CNG, which will encourage the transportation sector to use more natural gas.

Mumbai’s Mahanagar Gas lowers the cost of CNG
On Tuesday, Mahanagar Gas Ltd. (MGL) said that the cost of compressed natural gas (CNG) will be reduced to Rs 73.50 per kg, starting at midnight on March 5, 2024, and ending early on March 6, 2024.

The firm said, “MGL is pleased to announce a reduction in CNG price by Rs 2.5/kg in and around Mumbai due to a reduction in gas input costs.” It further stated that at present prices in Mumbai, MGL’s CNG pricing provides excellent savings of 53% compared to petrol and 22% compared to diesel.
