In India, Aston Martin unveils the latest sports vehicle “Vantage” for Rs 3.99 cr

The latest sports vehicle, “Vantage,” from Aston Martin was unveiled in India on Tuesday for Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom).

The business claims that the new Vantage has a powerful build and a striking appearance, with design elements reminiscent of Aston Martin’s storied One-77 supercar.

Aston Martin CEO Amedeo Felisa stated in a statement, “Any car bearing the Vantage name has much to live up to, which is why this newest model makes an unwavering commitment to high performance in its purest and most explicit form.”

“Together with assertive styling, an all-new interior, and state-of-the-art infotainment, Vantage is world-class in every respect,” he said.

An updated 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine powers the 2017 Vantage. It takes only 3.4 seconds to get to 60 mph and it can achieve a peak speed of 202 mph.

The car’s chassis and engine are expertly calibrated to provide unmatched driver engagement, and it boasts a flawless 50:50 weight distribution, the manufacturer said.

“With a perfectly balanced front-engined rear-wheel drive chassis aided by industry-leading Active Vehicle Dynamics, it combines outright capability with progression and exploitability,” stated Roberto Fedeli, chief technology officer for Aston Martin.

Additionally, the manufacturer of sports cars said that an innovative vehicle dynamics control system, cast-iron brake discs, and 21-inch forged wheels are standard on the Vantage.

The new car’s interior has a redesigned dashboard with a 10.25-inch infotainment display with real buttons and switches.
