According to business group CII, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech listed the significant accomplishments of his administration over the last ten years that have established the framework for India’s transformation into a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047.

On August 15, Modi said that India was at a crucial turning point and had the power to create the new global order that was taking form in the wake of the COVID epidemic. He also promised his people a “New India” with a promising future within the next five years.

According to CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee, the prime minister’s goal of making India the third-largest economy in the world over the next five years can be easily realized.

According to ASSOCHAM Secretary General Deepak Sood, Modi’s speech from the Red Fort’s ramparts on the 77th Independence Day will strengthen the nation’s commitment to become a developed nation by 2047 as it is moving quickly to become one of the third biggest economies in the world.

According to Banerjee of the CII, “the achievements and vision delineated by the prime minister in his speech have indeed set the perfect backdrop for lending strength and fortitude to India’s ascent as the leading global superpower in the Amrit Kaal period.”

He said that Modi’s address thoroughly highlighted the noteworthy accomplishments of the administration over the previous eight to ten years, laying the groundwork for India to become a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

India has undoubtedly taken the initiative to lead the world in key transformative sectors, such as renewable energy, international peace, and prosperity with equality, according to ASSOCHAM’s Sood.
