Launch Date for OnePlus Buds 3 in India Confirmed; To Be Unveiled With OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus Buds 3 will soon be available in Indian stores. The genuine wireless earphones’ national launch date has been revealed by the manufacturer. Alongside the OnePlus 12, the earbuds were introduced in China earlier this month. It is anticipated that the Indian and Chinese versions of the earphones would have comparable specs. Notably, it has also been announced that the flagship OnePlus 12 model would debut in India later this month. Simultaneously, the business plans to introduce the OnePlus 12R model in the nation.

The OnePlus Buds 3 will be on sale in India on January 23, as OnePlus India revealed in a post on X.

On the same day, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are expected to be on sale worldwide and in India. Anticipatedly, the latter will be a renamed variant of the OnePlus Ace 3, which debuted in China with the most recent flagship model last month.

The OnePlus Buds 3 were priced at CNY 499 (about Rs. 5,800) when they were first released in China. There are two color possibilities for the Chinese version: Space Grey and Clear Sea Blue. The blue-colored headphones were hinted to in the OnePlus India poster.

It is anticipated that the Indian version of the OnePlus Buds 3 would have specs comparable to those of the Chinese model. The 10.4mm driver, three microphones, LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res audio output, and compatibility for AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs are all included with the truly wireless headphones. They are said to provide a richer sound experience because to their 94ms low latency and unique game sound effects.

Additionally, the earbuds include three levels for active noise cancellation (ANC): mild, moderate, and deep. These settings correspondingly give ANC assistance of 10 dB, 20 dB, and 49 dB. Additionally, there is a transparency option that lets users hear everything around them unobstructed.

The charging case has a USB Type-C socket and a 520mAh battery, while each OnePlus Buds 3 earpiece has a 58mAh battery. Up to 6.5 hours and up to 28 hours of listening duration, respectively, are promised for the earbuds when the ANC feature is activated. The earbuds are said to have a battery life of up to 10 hours when the ANC is off and up to 44 hours when the case is included, all on a single charge.
