Lalit Khaitan’s company Radico Khaitan is a major force in the Indian liquor industry, known for its classic brands like as Magic Moments, 8PM Premium Whisky, Rampur Indian Single Malt Whisky, Regal Talon Whisky, and more. The corporation is present all over the world, producing and distributing alcohol to more than 85 nations. It now has a market valuation of over Rs 23000 crore and is headquartered in Delhi.

Lalit Khaitan is a native of Kolkata who attended Mayo College in Ajmer and St. Xavier’s College in Kolkata for his formal education. In 1972–1973, he assumed control of Radico Khaitan. He maintained the highest standards of corporate governance while using his extraordinary managerial ability to lead the firm to new heights despite its many liabilities.

Lalit Khaitan, an 80-year-old man with a $1 billion net worth, has entered the ranks of Indian billionaires. The firm in which he has a 40% part experienced a more than 50% gain in its publicly listed shares last year due to the success of new beverages including Happiness in a Bottle gin and increased sales.

Despite being in a good position to benefit, Radico Khaitan must contend with a number of rivals. The biggest of these is United Spirits, a subsidiary of listed Diageo. Former billionaire and flamboyant liquor mogul Vijay Mallya, who is presently absconding in London, was the head of United Spirits.
