New Housing Plan From Delhi Development Authority Will Permit Combining Of Two Flats

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has started a new housing scheme to build 5,500 dwellings for the general public. For apartments under this program, online applications are now being accepted. And 4,000 individuals have applied thus far. This time, DDA is offering people a special option. Under this new scheme, anyone may enlarge their property by buying two units next to each other. A person might purchase two apartments and combine them if they believe that their home is too tiny and lacks suitable room.

‘First Come, First Serve’ is the rule under this new plan, the DDA reportedly said. Additionally, it will be acceptable for people to take the door off the shared wall between two neighboring apartments. This will link the two apartments and furnish the room as they choose. Each portion of apartments has this feature. Anyone who has a flat reserved under the old DDA program may also reserve the unit next to him under the new program. Additionally, they will have the option to join the two flats, but they must first get DDA approval.

It is thought that DDA has altered its policies to allow the sale of Low Income Group (LIG) apartments. Due to their tiny proportions, one BHK apartments constructed in Narela, Siraspur, Lok Nayak Puram, and Rohini are not as popular with the public. As a consequence, it is predicted that the new policy of connecting two units would increase interest.

In order to sell 40 to 50 built-up High Income Group (HIG) apartments in Jasola, 200 MIG flats in Narela and Dwarka, 1,760 LIG flats in Rohini, Loknayak Puram, and Siraspur, and more than 900 EWS homes in Narela, the DDA started a new housing program. The price of apartments has been set at between Rs 14.15 lakh and Rs 41.11 lakh in Rohini, Rs 27.5 lakh and Rs 28.5 lakh in Loknayak Puram, and Rs 17.5 lakh and Rs 17.75 lakh in Siraspur.

Visit the Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) website at www.dda.org.in to apply for the housing program. They must complete the online application form with all of their personal information, including name, address, phone number, and information about their income and desired kind of apartment.
