Release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III announced; get all the details below

The latest game in the hugely successful series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, has finally received a release date from Activision. The release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been announced by the official Call of Duty account on X (Twitter).

The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC are among the current-generation systems that the game is anticipated to be launched on. Activision has not yet specified if the game would also be made available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from prior generations.

On August 17, a gathering in Call of Duty: Warzone is anticipated to provide further details about the game, including gameplay.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III campaign is anticipated to continue where MW2 left off, and similar to recent releases, this one could support 120 frames per second on consoles that are currently on the market.

The fact that a new Call of Duty game has been launched each year since 2005 and will do so again this year should also be mentioned.

In related news, Microsoft’s purchase of Call of Duty creator Activision Blizzard is almost finished after the FTC failed to halt the transaction. As they wait for the UK regulator’s clearance, Microsoft and Activision were obliged to extend the deal’s deadline to October of this year. The deadline for the merger agreement has been extended by Microsoft and Activision Blizzard until October 18. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said on X last month, “We’re hopeful about finishing this, and thrilled about delivering more games to more users worldwide.
