Reliance Industries, Adani Total, SBI, DLF, and Adani Total are the focus of today’s share market opening update as the Sensex and Nifty trade higher and the rupee opens lower, respectively.

Tuesday, August 1st, saw a stronger start to the Indian equities market as it took signals from the leading international indexes. Sensex was up 0.14% at 66,618.22 points as of 9:38 IST today, while Nifty 50 was up 0.10% at 19,774.00 points.

On Monday, the three main US indexes ended higher. The Nasdaq Composite increased 0.21% to 14,346.02 points, the S&P 500 increased 0.15% to 4,588.96 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.28% to 35,559.53 points.

The local equities market saw widespread purchasing on Monday, July 31, helping the key indexes, the Sensex and the Nifty, finish higher on positive global signals. At market close, the Nifty gained 0.55% to settle at 19,753.80 points, while the Sensex closed 0.56% higher at 66,527.67 points.

On Tuesday, the Indian rupee depreciated by 6 paise to 82.31 versus the US dollar as the currency’s overall strength and the price of crude oil rose.

On Monday, the Indian rupee’s final value versus the dollar was 82.25.

Reliance Industries, Adani Total, SBI, DLF, and Adani Total are stocks to keep an eye on.

DLF:

Today (August 1) is set to be a big day for the real estate developer DLF, with shares worth Rs 1086.2 crore on the line, according to sources. The deal’s issue price has allegedly been established at a 3% discount from the current market price (CMP) by the promoter or promoter group acting as the seller in the transaction.

Companies like Reliance:

After the business presented the brand-new JioBook laptop in India on Monday, attention has lingered on Reliance Industries shares today. This recently released JioBook is centered on education for people of all ages. At 9:51 am IST today, Reliance Industries shares were down 0.38% at Rs 2,539.60 a share.

Adani Overall:

At 10:03 IST today, Adani Total shares were up 0.32% at Rs 665.80. As the firm today releases its June quarter results, investors will continue to monitor the share price of Adani Total Gas on Tuesday.

SBI:

After the institution issued its third infrastructure bond offering, which generated Rs 10,000 crore at a coupon rate of 7.54%, and which the bidding for took place on Monday (July 31, 2023), SBI shares were unchanged at Rs 620.05 per share in the early morning session on Tuesday.
