Renault Teases New Lighting Pattern for the Kardian Crossover

Renault has teased the Kardian, a B-segment crossover that will be available in the near future.

On October 25, the Renault Kardian will debut, bringing with it a fresh approach to design. The Kardian will be launched in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, later this month. According to reports, the Kardian will first go on sale in South America before the French carmaker aims to make it accessible elsewhere.

Although a debut date for the crossover in India is not yet set, it is possible given that it is intended for developing markets.

The teaser picture features a close-up of the new emblem in the crossover’s diamond-patterned grille. Less than 13.62 feet (4.15 meters) long, the new crossover is marketed by Renault as having “high ground clearance.” The automaker unveiled the crossover’s liftgate along with a portion of the taillights, the roof spoiler, and the model word mark underneath the new symbol.

RENAULT KARDIAN: DECORATIVE ASPECTS

The Renault Kardian is the brand’s first automobile to use its new front profile design language outside of Europe. A new version of the corporate emblem and the Kardian’s distinctive lights are seen in the teaser. The fresh pictures don’t offer a much, but they do show how compact the crossover is. Its slim LED headlights are located at the top of the face, and the bumper’s grey plastic inserts are presumably where the fog lights will be located. A lower grille opening that seems to be trapezoidal is also seen in the teaser picture.

The crossover’s rear fenders and roof bars are shown in the pictures. With substantial alterations including a raised ride height, integrated skid plates, plastic cladding on the fenders and wheel arches, and other features to give it a muscular appearance, it may be a high-riding substitute for the Dacia Sandero Stepway hatchback.

Renault previously shown the liftgate of the crossover, revealing the model word mark underneath the new logo. The roof spoiler and a portion of the tailboard were also shown.

Although Renault has not yet shown the Kardian’s inside, several cutting-edge innovations are expected to be included. The crossover is powered by a 1.0-liter engine with a maximum output of 64 horsepower. A 1.0-litre turbocharged engine with a peak output of 88 bhp will also be present.

According to reports, Renault’s new international market strategy will be unveiled at the same time as the launch of the new Kardian.
