Consultancy Services, Tata
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has teamed up with Nuuday, the leading digital networking and communications provider in Denmark, to carry out a complicated cloud transition. TCS will completely manage Nuuday’s IT infrastructure and move it to the TCS hybrid cloud in return for a multi-million dollar deal, paving the way for future advancements. As the company’s key technology partner, TCS will help Nuuday achieve its objective of becoming a “truly digital service provider” by providing an advanced and secure infrastructure.

Lifesciences Zydus
Zydus Lifesciences Limited has received final approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to produce and sell Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride Injection USP, 25 mg/mL and 50 mg/2 mL (25 mg/mL), Single-Dose Vials (RLD: Thorazine Injection). The organization has submitted around 460 ANDAs since the filing process started in FY 2003–04, and it now has 391 approvals.

Adani Environmental
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has formally started operating its 126 MW of wind power capacity in Gujarat. This brings the 300 MW project to completion together with the previous operationalization of 174 MW. The 300 MW wind project will avoid over 0.8 million tons of CO2 emissions annually and produce over 1,091 million power units, according to the company’s statement on Thursday. Now that the project is up and running, AGEL is able to hold onto its leading position in the market and oversee India’s biggest portfolio of renewable energy, with 9,604 MW.

Electronics Bharat Ltd. (BEL)
Navaratna DPSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) have inked a contract for the supply of 14 cutting-edge communication and electronic warfare (EW) sensors and systems, for a total of Rs. 847.70 Cr plus taxes. Three Indian Navy Cadet Training Ships will have these cutting-edge equipment, which are made in the country by BEL, installed, the PSU firm said on Thursday.

Lifesciences Eris
The news that Eris Lifesciences Ltd. would invest Rs 1,242 crore to buy the India-branded formulation business of Biocon Biologics has given the firm a significant boost towards breaking into the Rs 30,000+ crore injectables market in India and gaining leadership in the Insulins category. The purchase has added two well-known insulin medications to Eris: Insugen and Basalog. These are the biggest Indian brands in their respective categories, with market shares over 10%. Following the purchase, Eris’s diabetes care brand would soon be ranked sixth in India and bring in Rs 1,000 crore in sales. With this financing, Eris will also be expanding into the critical care and cancer domains. Eris and Biocon Biologics Ltd. have signed a ten-year supply agreement as part of this partnership.

Desjardins has selected Wipro Wipro Limited to update its credit products for clients and members, the company said. Wipro Gallagher Solutions (WGS), a Wipro Company and a top supplier of cloud-based Loan Origination Systems (LOS), will integrate and oversee Desjardins’ multiple in-house and legacy systems. This will consolidate all of their Loan Origination Systems onto a single platform, enhancing customer experience, increasing efficiency, and reducing costs.

A Letter of Intent (LoI) for a 300 MW grid-connected solar capacity has been submitted by JSW Energy Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to JSW Neo Energy Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited. This is in response to an invitation for a tariff-based competitive offer to develop a 1,125 MW grid-connected solar power project (also known as “GSECL Stage-3”) at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited’s RE Park in Khavda. The firm wants to reach 20 GW of power and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by 2030. JSW Energy has ambitious plans to cut its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

NHPC
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has issued a Letter of Intent dated 14.03.2024 to NHPC Limited about a 200 MW solar power project situated inside the 1125 MW GSECL’s RE Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3). The estimated cost of the aforementioned solar power plant is Rs. 846.66 crore.

Railtel Enterprise
The Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) has awarded RailTel Corporation of India Ltd a work order of Rs. 113.46 crore to create an IP-MPLS network connectivity as part of OdishaNet Phase 1.0.

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has authorized Paytm One97 Communications Limited (OCL) to participate in UPI as a Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP) under the multi-bank paradigm. The PSPs (Payment System Providers) for OCL will include Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, and YES Bank.
