On Wednesday, December 20, the second Vande Bharat Express on the New Delhi–Varanasi line is scheduled to begin service.
On November 18, PM Narendra Modi initiated the first steps towards this semi-high-speed wonder. The inaugural Vande Bharat Express, which debuted in February 2019, will be compared and upgraded for fans.
WHAT IS THE DELHI-VARANASI VANDE BHARAT’S SECOND NEW DEAL?
Different from its predecessor, the new Vande Bharat Express will depart early in the morning from Banaras, using a different route rather than the Delhi-Banaras one, according to Times Now. Indian Railways believes that this tactical change will satisfactorily serve a certain passenger segment, namely those departing Varanasi in the morning for Delhi, Prayagraj, or Kanpur.
New Delhi – Varanasi – Varanasi Vande Bharat Express: Timetable, Departures, and Path
Every day of the week except Tuesday is when the Varanasi – New Delhi – Varanasi Vande Bharat Express train, number 22415/22416, is scheduled to operate. In contrast to the Thursday-only timetable of its predecessor, this new service strives for more accessibility.
Train number 22415 Banaras-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express will depart Banaras at 6:00 AM and arrive in New Delhi around 2:05 PM on a daily basis. The train will halt briefly in Prayagraj at 7:35 AM for 4 minutes and in Kanpur at 9:32 AM for 4 minutes while traveling. Train 22416 New Delhi-Banaras Vande Bharat Express is scheduled to depart New Delhi at 3:00 PM and reach Banaras at 11:05 PM on the return journey. At 7:18 PM in Kanpur and 9:26 PM in Prayagraj, the train will stop.

Eight hours and five minutes is the estimated travel time for the new Vande Bharat Express, a minor five-minute increase over the previous route. There will be 16 coaches total on the train, including 2 executive chair cars and 14 chair cars.
