X has introduced new premium subscription plans. The price is as follows: Verify Benefits and Additional Information

On Friday, Elon Musk’s social media network X—previously known as Twitter—unveiled two new membership tiers, one of which is Premium+, for those who are ready to pay to use the network without advertisements. The Premium+ plan, which includes all of the platform’s tools and features except for the advertisements, costs around $16 per month, according to a website outlining the advantages of the membership. It stated that for the time being, those who are accessing the platform via a web browser would be able to utilize it.

“Basic,” the second category that is being launched, is $3 per month. The tier has basic services like editing posts and posting lengthier text and videos, but it lacks the blue checkmark. Moreover, it provides a “small reply boost.” Right now, you can only buy these two new plans online.

The current prices for India’s X Premium desktop app are Rs 650 for a monthly subscription and Rs 6,800 for an annual plan. On the other hand, the monthly plan for the X mobile app costs Rs 900, while the yearly X Premium membership plan costs Rs 9,400.

Benefits of the current subscription plans include the ability to upload 1080p videos and post longer videos, text formatting options in posts, the well-liked edit button, the ability to create bookmark folders, and early access to new features. Prioritized rankings in conversations and search are also included. Although the site is still ad-supported with the current tiers, X guarantees customers “twice as many posts between ads” on the Following and For You timelines.

Elon Musk, the platform’s owner, began looking for ways to make money off of it after taking control last year. He even started charging $1 a year for users in the Philippines and New Zealand to use X. In addition, Musk has been adding capabilities to X, including as livestreaming, audio and video conversations, and even wants to integrate banking.
