According to Xiaomi, more of its older devices will get the update in the coming months. The company claims to have updated its most recent Redmi and Xiaomi smartphones to the HyperOS version. The latest version is preinstalled on the new Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra devices. However, the Mi 10 is within the roster, which is an unexpected decision that most people would support. It’s also encouraging to see the Mi 11 Ultra on the list.

Over the years, Xiaomi has come under fire for not upgrading its older devices as often as it should have. However, HyperOS seems to be making a permanent change to this, which will be welcomed by consumers.

Speaking of the phones receiving the update, the Redmi Note 13 5G has an AMOLED display that measures 6.67 inches and has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset powers it. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU from Xiaomi, yet it still has a 120Hz AMOLED display. Like the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, the phone also has a fast-charging battery and a 108MP main rear sensor.
