“100% natural hai yeh shakal,” refutes claims made about cosmetic surgery by Anu Aggarwal

After starring in the legendary movie Aashiqui in 1990, Anu Aggarwal had a sudden and profound change in her life a few years later when she was engaged in a terrible car accident. She suffered serious injuries in the crash, including significant facial disfigurement. Anu Aggarwal has angrily disputed these accusations, stating that her visage is completely natural, despite suspicions and speculations claiming that she undergone cosmetic surgery to treat her facial injuries.

Anu recently made the following declaration in Hindi to Bollywood Now: “Please, I have not had any facial surgery. This face is entirely organic. And I believe that to be God’s grace. Where will you stop evolving at the end of the day, in my opinion? I am really appreciative of it. A mistake is certain to happen again if you make one adjustment. There’s nothing greater than what comes naturally to you in terms of appearance. Therefore, when individuals consider adjusting this or that, they will first adjust their nose, and then they will believe that their forehead is not properly shaped as a result of the nose adjustment. Thus, they will address the forehead first, and after that, they will consider addressing their cheeks. You see, there’s never an end.”

When Anu looked back on her struggles in the entertainment business, she remembered a turning point in the shooting of Aashiqui, when she encountered the problem of her dark skin tone not matching cosmetics.

As soon as I arrived to the location, they began painting my face with white makeup. What happened, I wondered? What’s going on with my face? They said, ‘No, ma’am, that’s not acceptable; they do this to everyone.’ I asked, ‘So, my colour isn’t acceptable? Thus, what made you take me? She said, “You could have taken a fair girl.”
Anu went on, “I simply brought it up and left the stage. We don’t have makeup, they said. I’ll tell you about the late eighties. We do not use skin-color makeup that is tan. as everyone wants to seem impartial. After I left, they used tan skin makeup for the first time in the modelling profession.”
Anu has made the decision to return to the entertainment business after a more than 25-year absence.
