12th failure: Vikrant Massey film will be shown in more than 20,000 Chinese theaters

The country was enthralled with renowned director Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s most recent film, “12th Fail.” Starring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankar, the movie was the greatest surprise smash of the previous year and is regarded as one of 2023’s biggest hits. When it was released on October 27, 2023, audiences and the general public responded remarkably well to it, praising it greatly for its straightforward narrative.

Currently, the film is about to add yet another feather to its crown after taking home many prizes. According to Vikrant Massey, the film will be shown on more than 20,000 screens in China when it opens there. Vikrant said that there have been discussions about the biographical drama’s distribution in China for some time. “It has been in the works for a few months, but finally, the news is out, and everyone knows that the film is releasing in China,” he said in a recent interview with India Today.

Vikrant went on to say that China has a huge entertainment industry. More than 20,000 screens are available (given until 12th Fail). The quantity of displays is a result of China’s strong entertainment industry, he added.

The 25-week successful theatrical run of 12th Fail

The film has just recently wrapped up a fantastic 25 weeks at the box office in theaters. Vikrant posted on Instagram as soon as the film reached this milestone, writing, “First film in 23 years to achieve this milestone.” We are grateful to the audiences for realizing our ambition. Based on a factual incident, “12th Fail” takes inspiration from the millions of students who have attempted the UPSC entrance test. It also motivates individuals to try again and not give up in the face of failure, even after failing that one test. The Vidhu Vinod Chopra-directed movie is now showing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada theaters.
