Under the direction of Raj Rachakonda, the film tells the heartwarming tale of two strangers who become friends in the middle of Hyderabad’s metropolis: PGulshan and Saiyami.

Director Raj Rachakonda expressed his appreciation for the teamwork that went into making the movie, saying, “I am thrilled to work with ZEE5 for the World Digital Premiere of 8 A.M. Metro, a film that is significant to all of us. A lot of amazing individuals came together to collaborate on this movie, including Gulzar Saab, Kausar Muni, Shruti Bhatnagar, Mark Robin, Gulshan Devaiah, and Saiyami Kher, to mention a few. In honor of their dedication and hard work, I demand that people see the movie on ZEE5, where it is available for free streaming.”

Last year, on May 19, the movie opened in theaters.

Saiyami portrays 29-year-old Iravati, a housewife in Nanded whose boring existence is flipped upside down in the movie when she has to go to Hyderabad to take care of her pregnant sister, who is bedridden. She seeks the help of Gulshan’s Preetam, a banker with more going on than meets the eye, as she battles recurrent panic attacks. The two go on several trips together, both spiritual and physical, and find comfort in one another’s company.

In addition to Gulzar’s poems, Kausar Munir wrote the songs that are performed by performers such as Jubin Nautiyal, Jonita Gandhi, Javed Ali, Vishal Mishra, and the Nooran Sisters. Mark K. Robin provided the music for the album.
