Aamir Khan Says, “Mushtaq Khan” Under the street light, read him Akele Hum Akele Tum scene. “People from the Colony”

Within the film business, there has always been criticism about Aamir Khan’s work ethic. Some see him as being too involved, while others commend his dedication to the medium. Bollywood actor Mushtaq Khan, who has collaborated with Aamir Khan on movies like Mann, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, and Baazi, recently spoke about his experiences working with the superstar in an interview with Digital Commentary. Praising Aamir Khan’s intense devotion to his work, Mushtaq related an experience in which the actor came to his house after midnight to explain a sequence that had been changed.

“I have done many films with Aamir Khan,” Mushtaq said in reference to Aamir’s work ethic. He is totally engaged in every picture, regardless of the director or producer. One of Aamir Khan’s greatest qualities is his genuine desire for the film to succeed. If there are four artists in a scene, he wants them to all have their moments and for the scene to be excellent overall. For example, if I have a scene, it will always be mine. This matters much. It is untrue that he meddles, notwithstanding what is reported.

He used a personal example to illustrate his thesis, saying, “For example, I was making the film Akele Hum Akele Tum. In the movie, I was Aamir’s legal representative. He is thus sitting there in a setting where I am defending him. He didn’t agree with the argument I made when supporting him. He expressed his dislike for the scenario to filmmaker Mansoor Khan. Ignoring him, Mansoor finished the scene. We withdrew around 6:00 p.m. At 8 p.m., I received a call, and Aamir was the caller. What time do you go to sleep? he inquired. “11 or 11:30,” I said. He informed me later that evening that they understood the scene’s meaning and were co-writing it with the writer. “He hasn’t left that point and he won’t let me sleep,” was my thinking at the time. He demanded that we meet right now, even though I assured him we would meet tomorrow. I persuaded him to send his driver to the site. Nobody will merely come to sleep, according to what my wife informed me.

When Aamir’s driver arrived at Mushtaq’s door at 12:15 a.m. and said that Aamir was downstairs, Mushtaq was taken aback. “Aamir is waiting for me downstairs,” he informed me. After apologizing, Aamir narrated me the scene that was illuminated by my house’s street light. The colony’s inhabitants began to gather on the roof gradually. Saying, “This is Aamir Khan.”
