Actor Abhishek Banerjee of “Stree” provides updates on VFX work and teases a larger, more fun follow-up

Fans are talking about the much-awaited Stree 2: The Horror Comedy, which is set for a theatrical release on August 30, 2024.
Now, Abhishek Banerjee, who was instrumental in the first Stree, has revealed a significant upgrade.

In an exclusive interview with us, Abhishek Banerjee stressed that Stree 2 would provide viewers with an even greater and more enjoyable experience since every performer is fully committed to their roles.

Additionally, Abhishek Banerjee spoke about how filming the sequel was like a sentimental reunion with his co-stars.
The actor also shared knowledge about the post-production phase, specifically with reference to the anticipated lengthy visual effects (VFX) process. Abhishek Banerjee pointed out that director Amar Kaushik’s meticulous attention to detail and perfectionism are obvious in the way he approached the sequel.
Amar Kaushik may need to spend more time post-production because of his commitment to providing the greatest possible final product.
In the meantime, critics have praised the first “Stree” movie as one of the greatest horror comedies produced in India.
In addition to Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Aparshakti Khurana, and other supporting cast members, the second episode has Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao reprising their roles. It is also planned for Tamannaah Bhatia to make a brief appearance.
